Roháčske plesá and Roháčsky waterfall
The tourist trail begins at the parking lot by the ski resort Roháče Spálená. It is necessary to follow the red mark. This will guide us along the asphalt road through the Roháčska Valley around the Adamcuľa glade to the former Ťatliakova chalet, where we can admire the beauty of Ťatliakove Lake.
Next, we continue along the green mark on the well-maintained path. The reward for nearly an hour of gentle ascent is the view of the First Roháč Lake (1,562 m above sea level) with an area of 2.22 hectares. We will bypass it on the right side and again reach the Second Roháč Lake (1,650 m above sea level) with an area of 0.28 ha by a gentle ascent.
In close proximity lies the Third Roháč Lake (1,653 m above sea level), which has an area of 0.61 ha. To reach the last Fourth Lake, we must again slightly ascend. It is located at an altitude of 1,719 m above sea level and has an area of 1.45 ha. The lake is situated at the foot of the Three Hills. After 2 hours of walking, this is the right place to rest.
We gradually descend in serpentines along the blue mark into the Spálena Valley, past the Green Lake, around the eighteen-meter Roháč Waterfall to Adamcuľa, and return to the parking lot via the asphalt road. This route can also be traveled in the opposite direction.
