Františkova huta

Františkova huta (locally known as Hámor) is a technical monument, a ruin of a factory hall of an ironworks (iron foundry) from 1836. It is located approximately 2 km southeast of the center of the village of Podbiel towards Zuberec.

The building is declared a national cultural monument. It is originally a Neoclassical factory building with a three-axis risalit. The Neoclassical facade, outer walls, blast furnace, supply and waste channels, hammer, blowing chamber, and iron ore heap (behind the building) are preserved.
