Zverovka – Spálená

Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Western Tatras. The resort is situated 9 km from the village of Zuberec. It is one of the most visited ski resorts in Slovakia. It is a resort that starts the ski season as one of the first in Slovakia and one of the last to end it. Every skier will find something for themselves at the resort. There are slopes built for both demanding skiers and beginners. The area is accessible by car, and it is possible to park directly by the new two ski lifts (200 m and 400 m). Then skiers can continue to the four-seater chairlift, which is 1500 m long. In the upper part of the area, there is the last lift with a length of 900 m. Within the Zverovka - Spaľená resort, the following services are available: ski service, ski rental, sale of ski equipment, parking lot, buffet, self-service restaurant, ski and snowboarding school.From this winter season 2014/2015, a new chairlift will be in operation.More info at www.tatrawest.sk

Slip-ons

Built directly in the village of Zuberec. The ski slopes are intended for demanding skiers as well as beginners. The resort has 4 lifts. The length of the ski trail is 1.4 km. Evening skiing is also operated in the resort. Orava Castle

It is one of the largest tourist attractions in northern Slovakia. The castle area forms an impressive complex of the lower, middle, and upper castle with palaces, fortifications, and towers. Visitors are intrigued by the connection of three entrance gates with a tunnel under which underground corridors are located. The Orava Museum, which hosts several exhibitions, is situated within the castle. The historical exhibition consists of a complex of medieval and Renaissance buildings of the castle and their corresponding furnishings.
